Accessible Approach/Entrance

  • Entrance is at ground level
  • Route of travel is slip resistant and at least 36”wide

  • If parking in the East End Garage, cross at corner of East Avenue and Swan Street for best curb cuts

Parking and Drop-Off Areas

  • Accessible parking space on East Avenue is closest to RoCo’s entrance on proper route
  • Garage entrances note 6’10” (or 82”) vertical clearance – less than the 98” vertical clearance for lift-equipped vans
  • Sign above garage entrance notes “Handicap spaces located on levels 1, 2 and 3”
  • Accessible spaces are available in the East End Garage

  • Accessible stall with grab bars behind and on the side of wall nearest to the toilet
  • Stall door has twist knob (turn and twist)
  • Toilet seat 18” high
  • Faucet operable with closed fist
  • Paper towel dispenser at 50”
