Dawn Lipson Canalside Stage at the JCC
The Dawn Lipson Canalside Stage at the Louis S. Wolk Jewish Community Center in Brighton has been home to theatre and music events all summer. There are 150 chairs under the tent and virtually unlimited seating in the open air surrounding the tent. Canalside Stage events go on rain or shine and are cancelled only for extreme weather events. Plenty of free and accessible parking.

Accessible Approach/Entrance
- Venue is at ground level
- Route of travel not requiring use of stairs and is at least 36” wide

- Pictograms used to identify restroom (doesn’t include braille)
- Doorway to restroom at least 32” clear
- Stall door operable with closed fist
- Adequate maneuvering space for a person using a wheelchair
- 36” wide path to all fixtures
- Grab bars behind and on the side of wall nearest to the toilet
- Toilet seat less than 19” high
- Faucet operable with closed fist
- Soap dispenser no higher than 44”
- Paper towel dispenser just higher than 44”
