The MuCCC Theater is a multi-use community cultural center (hence the acronym MuCCC) in Rochester, New York. Founded in 2009 by arts entrepreneur Doug Rice, its mission is to provide a theater to performers who do not have a permanent space, to attract new audiences to theater, and to provide theater at a low cost to the public.

Accessible Approach/Entrance

  • Route of travel is slip resistant and at least 36 in wide
  • Objects can be detected by person with visual disability using a cane

Parking and Drop-Off Areas

  • Three accessible parking spaces are available on Atlantic Avenue, in front of the MuCCC building
  • Accessible spaces are closest to accessible entrance on proper route
  • Accessible spaces marked with International Symbol of Accessibility
  • Main entrance is accessible via ramp. Please email: info@muccc.org  24 hours ahead if you need assistance
  • Aisles and pathways to materials and services at least 36 inches wide.
  • 5-foot space for turning a wheelchair completely
  • Obstacles are cane-detectable in circulation paths through public areas
  • Two wheelchair seating spaces are available in the theatre. More spaces can be arranged as needed.
  • Restrooms are fully accessible.
