RPO @ Fringe: Contemporary Works with Theremin

The Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra explores the outer edges of orchestral sound in a high-energy program driven by rhythm, electronics, and the otherworldly theremin. Virtuoso Carolina Eyck performs Régis Campo’s "Dancefloor with Pulsing," while Mason Bates' "Mothership" fuses orchestra and electronic beats. The concert closes with the exhilarating "Grand Pianola Music" by John Adams—a bold, playful ride through modern orchestral color.
