It's fun, Fringe-y, unscripted theater magic when Rochester improv veterans Ty Gagnon ("The Urge", "Two Fat Ladies", "Monstrosity") and Joanne Brokaw ("The Urge", "Ask Us Anything Booth", "Easily Amused") turn an empty stage into a new reality, powered entirely by imagination - theirs and yours! One of New York’s most entertaining queens debuts her hilarious, raunchy, and thought-provoking one-woman show: a half-lip synced, half live-sung drag extravaganza tailor-fit for drag enthusiasts, theatre fans, and anyone who isn't boring!

Described as fun, witty, playfully irreverent and most importantly, hilarious, Dario and Sara each deliver their own brand of humor for a show to be enjoyed by all attendees.

"Satire and wit abound" at Thank You Kiss sketch comedy shows. Critics have lauded the group as "laugh-out-loud funny" with "'hell yes' social commentary." Thank You Kiss blends satire, sincerity, and silliness through sketch, improvisation, and video. Members Marc D’Amico, Megan Mack, John Forrest Thompson, and Beth Winslow have studied and worked at renowned comedy theatres including iO, The Second City, and The Annoyance. The group is a winner of The Missouri Review’s prestigious Miller Audio Prize for Humor.

Join them at a convenient "early bird special" to see what generational gaps exist, collide, and maybe even subside into a level of hilarity. (They are not here for very long.) Featured as one of the best show at past Fringes.

SkittleFit Presents: The Sammich

The cast of SkittleFit has been performing their unique brand of improvised comedy since 2013. In addition to their regular shows at the Salt City Improv Theatre in Syracuse, they’ve performed at festivals and events including the Albany Improv Festival and the Del Close Marathon in NYC. With multiple layers of delicious hilarity, SkittleFit's "The Sammich" is a high-energy, five-act, evening of improvised comedy. Sometimes twisted, often weird, always funny.

Pork Pie Hat: Live Improv Comedy

Pork Pie Hat has been a house team at the Salt City Improv Theatre since 2012. They perform short-form, improv comedy in the style of the hit TV show “Whose Line Is It, Anyway?" Since all scenes are created spontaneously based on audience suggestions (nothing is scripted or rehearsed), the show that you attend has never been seen before ... and will never be seen again. This is truly comedy on the edge.

Unleashed! Improv Presents: Other People's Shows

You know Fringe is awesome ... But you can’t possibly see all the shows. That’s why Unleashed! will happily perform their interpretations of other people’s shows for you! Not only that, they’ll be significantly shorter than the originals, so you can really cram way more Fringe into your life. The troupe hilariously improvises pieces based on Fringe Guide descriptions, so look over the guide, suggest the one you want to see most and then watch what happens.
