For nearly ten years, Northcoast Americana band Hey Mavis has been igniting a following of dedicated fans. With heartfelt vocals, honest songwriting, blazing instrumental solos and an undeniable onstage musical chemistry, this quartet is the definition of great music. Hey Mavis has appeared on NPR’s Mountain Stage, NPR’s Whad'ya Know?, and PBS’s Songs from the Center. In 2018, Melissa Etheridge personally chose Hey Mavis as one of the headliners for her music cruise featuring Etheridge and Sarah McLachlan.

Teams compete in 2x2 battles for the title of Fringe Street Beat Champions and a cash prize. From breakdancing to allstyle, teams bring their A-game – and their adrenaline – to every eye-popping round, starting with these preliminary trials.

The Thigh Masters

For five years, Rochester’s very own party band has been bringing its high-energy mix of alternative rock to a host of venues and festivals around town. The lineup of Steve Smith, Tom Tills, Kevin Morin, Dave Mills and Scott Crook has selected a variety of songs from the ‘80s, ‘90s and today, including U2, The Revivalists, REM, Vance Joy, The Cure, Vampire Weekend and much more. So come out and sing along to the one-hit wonders and current hits that you love with The Thigh Masters!
