RITPO - Chamber Music Showcase

The Old Ball Game: Live-Scored Baseball Silent Films

The Old Ball Game celebrates America's pastime through live music, poetry, and silent film. Led by Rochester native Jared Engel, the Musicians’ Baseball Club of Brooklyn presents two award-winning live-scored films: Day of the Catch, about the Grapefruit League’s forgotten and hilarious origin, and The Mascot Race, a fast-moving baseball story set in modern-day New York. The program also features baseball-themed clips from silent-era films with original live scores. Fun for the whole family!

Latin Rhythm Dance Club

Bella and the Witch

Inspired by the story of Baba Yaga, "Bella and the Witch" is a dance theater piece by Laurie MacFarlane with props by Martha Schermerhorn and music by Parker Callister. When Bella’s mom sends her on an errand to her mysterious aunt’s house, Bella must use her wits, charm, and even some magic to defeat the witch and return safely home. Called a “bizarre world of witches, moving trees, and stolen light” by City Magazine, "Bella and the Witch" is fast-paced, funny, and just a little bit scary!

Emo Yoga

Trade in the mosh pit for the yoga mat for one night only! Caitlin will lead you through a 60-minute yoga class, filled with the best emo and punk pop hits and deep cuts. Flow with bands like Fall Out Boy and My Chemical Romance, and rock out on the mat. Caitlin is a 200-hour World Yoga Foundation certified instructor, and a successful YouTuber. As well as a lifelong emo kid. It was never a phase.
