The Zoo: A Musical Folly, by Sullivan, without Gilbert!

The Zoo: A Musical Folly, by Sullivan, without Gilbert!

After last year’s Less Miserable, the Off-Monroe Players present The Zoo by Sullivan (of Gilbert and Sullivan). A nobleman goes to the zoo to woo the girl who sells snacks there. He tries to impress her by buying and eating all the snacks. Meanwhile, a young druggist believes that he has poisoned his beloved by mixing up her father's prescription with candy that he meant for her. Indigestion and potential poisoning? A happy ending makes the zoo animals smile, and you will, too.
