Spoken word poetry from a National GLBTQ Slam Poem Winner and author of two books which were Lambda finalists. This poetry extravanganza is a exploration of the here, now and then intersections of race, sex, class and sexuality. It is about being Black, Queer, Female and Awake aka WOKE in the Dis-United States of America. It is a journey about survival, transgression and liberation.
