Older generations have had to meld who they are with their experiences. In Identity, the cameras turn to Gen Z students who are coming to terms with how society views them given their identities, both visible and invisible, and how this informs what social, cultural, and racial issues they care deeply about. After the screening, listen to the panel of local students featured in the film who dive deeper into how their views have evolved and the change they hope to see in the world.

Where do folk myths come from? Playwright Martha Schermerhorn is fascinated by the legendary ghostly lady in white, who wanders by bodies of water looking for her lover, her child, or...? A mother, a daughter, and a rover weave through a doomed psychosexual triangle, brought to life by local actors Judy Molner, Christopher C. Conway, and Laura D’Amico in a filmed performance directed by Maria Brandt. It’s a tale of abandonment, secrets, and loss.

Peter Pincus

As an artist and designer, Pincus continues to garner national attention for his research-based practice that includes the Wedgwood collection at the Birmingham Museum of Art (AL) and, most recently, an examination of several conceptual works by Sol LeWitt at MASS MoCA (North Adams, MA).
