America's Singing Sweethearts: A Tribute to Jeanette MacDonald and Nelson Eddy
Join vocalist Casey Jones Costello and pianist Gail Hyde in a nostalgic tribute to two of the greatest singing stars of the Golden Age of Hollywood, Jeanette MacDonald and Nelson Eddy, whose films together between 1935 and 1942 earned them the title of "America's Singing Sweethearts." Featuring songs MacDonald and Eddy popularized, enjoy beautiful melodies from composers including Victor Herbert, Rudolf Friml, Sigmund Romberg, and more, while reminiscing with Costello and Hyde as they wistfully remember "Springtime, Lovetime, May."

Please note, like other fringe festivals around the world this year, our Virtual Fringe features open-access online shows that are not curated by Rochester Fringe. We strive to be an open platform, as performing artists have limited options during this unusual time. Show applications were reviewed to ensure appropriateness and alignment with Fringe's ideals of openness and inclusion.
