Ask Me About My Dad

The death of a parent is never easy, and everyone's grief experience is unique. So when local broadcaster/comedian/storyteller Scott Fybush lost his father last year, he sought out comfort the way he knows best: by telling his stories. Coldwater Blues

Coldwater Blues loves to perform live. Connie Fredericks-Malone: Alone With My Music

Connie Fredericks-Malone returns to the Dawn Lipson Canalside Stage at the Rochester JCC. Fredericks-Malone performs songs made famous by Ella Fitzgerald, Nina Simone, Patsy Cline, Dinah Washington, Louis Armstrong and Nat Cole. “I fancy myself as a girl singer in a big band,” laughs Connie. She and musical director Scott Bradley set the arrangements and create fully orchestrated instrumental tracks that accompany Fredericks-Malone’s vocals.

Indigo Breeze Band

Róisín Dubh

Róisín Dubh (Ro-sheen dove: the Black Rose) is a favorite of Celtic music lovers in Rochester and far beyond. This unique school music program performs high-energy traditional music of Ireland in authentic traditional and contemporary styles. Since 2001, Róisín Dubh has performed more than 450 times, shared the stage with some of the world’s top Irish/Celtic musicians, and released five albums, with their music heard on NPR's famous Thistle & Shamrock.

Vocal Point with The Yellow Jackets
