Been Set Free: A Virtual Theatre Dance Performance

Realized on a virtual stage and recorded live at RIT's MAGIC Spell Studios in January 2022, this performance involves a dancing avatar whose motions are defined by a live dancer using motion capture technology. This experience will allow visitors to experience the performance as it was presented through an immersive VR head mounted display. (Note: The experience runs around 8:30 minutes.)

Rumored to be from fictional WEXT-TV, Bronco Brad takes his pretend wooden guitar, wooden clackers, and sidekick Wally the Happy Talking Neutrino to the stage for whacked-out cowboy songs and made-up tales of the Old West, along with visits by Oog, Son of Ahg (30,000 BC), and the Fun Farm Hootananny. It’s not here, it’s over here. U.S premiere tour of the renowned immersive arts experience direct from France. How does a crowd move? And how does one move differently when alone versus in a crowd?
