Children's Storytime with Mrs. Kasha Davis

Join drag superstar Mrs. Kasha Davis for stories and a craft project focused on celebrating gender individuality and expression. This program is geared towards pre-school-age children and their families. No registration required, but seating and craft supplies will be available on a first-come/first-served basis, and priority will be given to families with young children.

Roc Bottom Slam Poets at the Central Library

Formed in 2013 under the direction of Lu Highsmith, the Roc Bottom Slam Team is Rochester's first adult slam poetry team. This diverse group includes eleven dynamic poets from all walks of life who deliver gut-wrenching, real-life messages and impact their audiences with feelings of resilience, determination, and hope.

Wear comfortable shoes and be prepared to stand and/or walk for 75 minutes.
