regional talents participate in 3-on-3 team battles, facing off on
the dance floor for a chance at winning the title of Fringe Street Beat Champions and a cash prize of $1500. Teams bring the moves; DJ Sike brings the beats. From break dancing to all-styles, teams bring their A-game to the floor for this final round right on Gibbs Street. "Life is a roller coaster...raise your hands and enjoy the ride." JACK RABBIT, a dance work for ten dancers, was imagined by choreographer Cheryl Johnson and inspired by the oldest operational roller coaster at Seabreeze. Seattle percussionist Ed Hartman created an original music score for the piece. DUALLY'NOTED features duets between tap dance expressionist Cheryl Johnson and top-notch jazz musicians Maria Battista Hancock (vocals), Richard DeLaney (piano), Rich Felice (drums), Dave Arenius (bass), and John Wiesenthal (guitar).
