Childhood/The Lottery

Two virtuosic short plays: "Childhood" by Thornton Wilder (1960) and "The Lottery" (1948) by Shirley Jackson. Described as one of the most famous short stories in the history of American literature, Jackson's play speaks about people who blindly follow traditions without thinking of the consequences of those traditions.
